The topic of salvation is abundant in the Bible. It represents security and rescue from danger. (1 Timothy 2:3-4; 2 Timothy 2:10; Luke 19:10; 1 Timothy 1:15; Acts 4:12; Matthew 1:20)
Salvation, biblically speaking, is rescue from the punishment for our sins. God does not save us "in" our sins. He saves us from our sins. Sin is real, and still, people belittle sin and try to make it seem not so important. A lie is often called a "non-fact." Adultery is considered just an affair. We need to remember that sin is real and that it separated us fro God. (Isaiah 59:1-2; Romans 3:23; Ezekiel 18:20)
Salvation in Christ is exclusive.
It occurs only in Christ and not in any other. (John 14:6; John 8:24; 2 Timothy 2:5-6; Matthew 7:24-29)Salvation in Christ is for all.
It is not limited in its reach, but is intended for all of mankind in that all men everywhere are equally accountable to God for their own sin. (Luke 24:47; Mark 16:15-16; Romans 1:16)Salvation is adequate.
There is no need for further revelation from God. (Jude 3; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 4:11; 2 Peter 1:3; Hebrews 7:25; Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17)Salvation is freely offered.
Jesus gave His life in our stead. In this act, He offers salvation freely to us if we will only accept it in obedience to Him.Will you accept that salvation? (Hebrews 5:8-9)

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
