Keep This In Your Wallet

The following is a short list of "things to do everyday." We could become better Christians if we would only make a habit of following such a set of guidelines:

"Today I will begin a new life" (Psalms 118:24; Philippians 3:13)

"I will pray immediately and often" (1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6)

"I will meditate on God's word" (Psalms 119:11; Psalms 119:105)

"I will have pure thoughts" (2 Timothy 1:3; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Philippians 4:8)

"I will smile and speak kindly to everyone" (Ephesians 4:32; Romans 12:10; Colossians 4:6)

Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
